About Velvetpasture
Velvetpasture is a locale for mad ramblings that generally relate to environmental issues, Christianity (or rather, following Jesus), and how we, the environment, and Jesus relate. There are also random posts about homesteading in the Sonoran desert, green home building, and other random things, all tied together within a consistent thread of whatever is running around in my head at the time.
As for the name of the blog, I had Jethro Tull’s tune Velvet Green spinning around at the same time as I was thinking about greener pastures on the ol’ homestead (which has neither green nor pastures and isn’t at all velvety).
